Yesterday`s episode of Oskyldigt dömd was about an immigrant who was accused of beating up a guy.It turned out the prosecutor was involved in the case having witnesses claim he was guilty.Markus on TV discussing with him and he said he`d take on the case.Naturally he won the case but only after having persuaded a witness to testify.She had been threatend into keeping quiet and didn`t turn up at the first trial.

This critic is very positive towards Oskyldigt dömd calling it the best Swedish crime series since the 60s.He compares Mikael`s character to a character in the law series Boston Legal.He says "it`s the same mix of cynisism and legal pathos,of distance and compassion.It`s the same high degree of contempt for everyone who has become corrupt from their work and the same conviction of being invincible.

The commercial TV station over here,TV2 starts to air Oskyldigt dömd on October 13.The same thing happend three years ago when Mikael played in the series Medicinmannen.I`ll of course continue to watch it on TV4.

Tonight`s episode of Oskyldigt dömd was about Markus`ex-girlfriend Elisabeth who was doing time for a drug sentence.Everyone including her lawyer recommended her not to have the sentence overturned.Two of her friends plus Belal Al-Muhktar`s boss (Francisco Sobrado`s character)was involved in the case.Also the prosecutor Ulrika Stiegler(Markus`ex-wife played by Marie Richardson) had let her personal feelings get in the way of her judgement.

Episode 4 of Oskyldigt dömd was about a guy who was sentenced because of case of hit and run (a person gets hit by a car and the driver just continues on without stopping to help.His mother is convinced he is innocent and contacts Markus at an event in connection with his job.The evidence in the case suggest that he is innocent,but still he claims he is guilty.It turns out he was guilty after all,but in a different way than expected.

Episode 5 of Oskyldigt dömd was about Nazir Jarraz who was in jail because he had murdered a police officer in connection with a bank robbery.Markus and his students finds out he was innocent of this murder.Instead he was guilty of torturing and killing people in Iraq,his homeland.They give him the opportunity of either doing time in Sweden or being sent abroad to be sentenced.He chooses the latter one,but in the end FBI (or something similar)grabs him at the airport sending him to Guantanamo (!)Markus called the prosecutor to hear if it was possible to send him out of the country,and he said yes.But of course this wasn`t what he wanted.When he called to tell him that he was sent to Guantanamo,he was told not to call him again (!)

Episode 6 of Oskyldigt dömd-Fia`s Dad has been in jail for the last 20 years and now Markus and his students will take on his case.First he claims he wasn`t even at the crime scene,but then he says he and Rolf (a friend of his)staged the latter ones death.They were threatend by the police and Fia`s mother was bribed all those years to keep quiet.They succeed in having his case reopend and he is aquitted.Unfortunately one of the witnesses hasn`t told the whole story and it turns out he is guilty after all.

Episode 7 of Oskyldigt dömd is about Alf Fransson who wakes up after having a party (he is an alcoholic and a drug addict)and finds one of his friends dead.He assumes he is guilty and is jailed.Markus and his students take on the case and they find out that a woman called Kerstin Larsson who was present at the party claimed on her death bed that she had done it.They interview neighbors and Kerstin`s son,and it turns out it was her son was guilty.The police officer in charge of the case,Annika Hallgren made a mistake when she arrived the crime scene closing the door to the balcony so that the autopsy showed that the victim had died later than he really did.His body temperature was lower because of it.She knew the victim and the guy who has sentenced to jail,that`s why he confessed even if he couldn`t rememeber a thing.This case brings back Markus`own demons since his father is an an alcoholic.

Episode 8 of Oskyldigt dömd-Carina Persson is convicted of arson,killing her husband and his mistress.But his mistress is found dead in Germany,so obviously they didn`t die in the fire.The husband staged his own death and had a friend provide the bodies since he worked at a crematorium.
Fia is almost killed in this episode since the husband locks her in a coffin and almost sends it away to have it cremated (!)Fortunately she is saved by Roger and back up.

Episode 9 of Oskyldigt dömd-Elena who is a prostitute is accused of having killed a pimp.She is sentenced to ten years in jail and refuses to cooperate when Markus`students want to help.One of her customers is in the supreme court and he claims she is innocent.But because of his high status they can`t use him as a witness.Also her lawyer is corrupt since he owes a large amount of money to a criminal who turns out to be the real killer.

A gay man from Iran is to be extradited to his home country.He risks getting executed because of his sexual orientation,Markus and his students have only three days to find evidence so that he can have a new trial.It`s Ulrika Stiegler,Markus`ex-wife who contacts Anna about this case.She is a prosecutor and she does this behind Markus`back and without her bosses knowing about it.
When they dig into the case,they find out that it was his partner who maimed another guy so that he ended up in a wheelchair.The two of them got into a fist fight and he used an electric weapon.

Emma Bergqvist has a daughter and she is dating an abusive man.In order to please him she tries to kill her,she pushes her off a bridge.Fortunately she survives and five years later she turns up at Marcus`house to ask for help concerning her mother.She got a ten year sentence and now her daughter wants her to have a new trial.At first it doesn`t seem like they have enough evidence,their neighbor knows nothing about a boyfriend (she does know more than she lets on).But then a similar case turns up where a mother tried to kill her own son.She also had an abusive boyfriend and it turns out it`s the same guy.He`s been using different names and they only find out the real one because Emma`s daughter wrote down the license plate number off his car.This guy is the son of the female prosecutor handling the case (!)That`s why she was so determined to sentence her to ten years in jail.
Anna takes this case personally,she is unusually upset over it and Marcus takes her off the case temporarily.She is having personal problems (troubled relationship with her parents).We`ll know more about this in the last episode next week.
Marcus is involved with his boss Caroline,they`ve been on a few dates and she`s spent the night with him.In this episode he babysits her daughter since her regular babysitter can`t make it.This is the cute girl I talked about earlier (I posted a photo of her and Mikael together  Anyway,it was fun seeing him interact with her.But Marcus also gets involved with his ex-wife Ulrika Stiegler,obviously they`re not over each other.He`s been having several affairs throughout the series,one of them was with a Norwegian air stewardess

Roger is accused of having tried to kill Bo Sjöstedt,Anna`s Dad.His colleagues find him standing over him with blood on his hands.Apparently someone has stabbed him with a pair of scissors.Roger refuses to cooperate (he wants to protect Anna and he doesn`t want the others to know they`ve had an affair),but he wants Marcus to be his defence attorney in court.He grudgingly agrees to do so,but he has someone else prosecute the case.Marcus proves that the witnesses (Bo`s colleagues)have thin statements,nothing much to go on,they haven`t really seen anything.Anna ends up testitifying against her dad and she admits that she was the one who stabbed him.Apparently he molested her as a child and she stabbed him in self defence.They`ve had a very problematic relationship and her mother didn`t seem to be of much help.Her father insists what happend isn`t true,but Marcus has an audio tape of them talking about it.
Caroline (Marcus`s girlfriend and boss)is leaving for Boston because she has gotten a research scholarship.She`ll be staying for three years,so she is ending her affair with Marcus.He seems to be sorry she`s leaving and he even tells her he loves her.But she says it`s easy to say when she`s standing with her baggage ready to leave.She doesn`t really believe in their relationship.
He is still involved with his ex-wife,and they seem to have found each other again.
This was the last episode in this season,looking forward to the next
